International Refugee Day event - Tel Aviv 24.06.2011

On the 20th of June, the world celebrates international refugee day, and this year, the 60th anniversary of the signing of the UN Refugee Convention. This is our opportunity to commemorate the courage of asylum seekers across the globe and express the commitment of countries and their citizens to protect refugees, to defend human rights, and to struggle against violence, wars, and genocides that cause thousands of human beings to become refugees and asylum seekers.

Work Permits

Asylum seekers in Israel are permitted to work at any employment, at any location in Israel, and there is no need for licenses in order to employ them.
